Moving is a big project, for those who have never hired a moving company to move, or those who have no moving experience, it is a headache to move. So, in order to make you understand more about the moving in the need to know the situation, and may encounter problems, we list them one by one, for your reference.

* When is the best time to move?

Typically, the busiest time for moving is during the summer months, such as June-August, and there is also a period around the end of the year that is a little peak season for moving. If you are planning to move during this period, it is best to make arrangements as early as possible.
In addition, weekday Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are busy moving days. If you can fit it into your schedule, it’s better to move in the middle of the week rather than on the weekend to avoid conflicts with other people’s moving schedules. Of course, if you do need to move over the weekend, you can do so, but you will need to make an appointment in advance and be prepared.

Based on our experience, in order to save time and minimize the cost of moving, we recommend that you start preparing for your move as soon as you have decided on the time of your move:

* What are your charges and what are they?

We charge by the hour. How we charge: We accept check or cash.

* Do you have a minimum hourly rate?

Yes, we do have a minimum hourly rate, but we will notify you at the time of booking.

* What other items do you charge for besides moving expenses?

Blankets are $15 each (recyclable); clothing boxes are $10 (recyclable).

* Do you charge extra for stairs?

No. We do not charge extra for moving common household items down or up stairs. However, if you have heavy items such as pianos, refrigerators, appliances, heavy gym equipment, etc., then 3 movers will be required and there may be an additional charge for moving these items, depending on the situation on site.

* What are the best ways to protect our home and belongings?

We will wrap your TVs, furniture, beds, etc. in blankets, shrink wrap or plastic wrap. During the moving process, they will be placed carefully and gently to ensure that they are not damaged during the move. In the case of clothing, we will provide you with coat boxes for your clothing.
Upon request, we will place our moving blankets on carpets or floors that need to be passed through during the move, and these blankets can be used free of charge at no extra cost to you.
Please note that for the safety of our workers, they are required to wear shoes during the move, so please do not allow our workers to take off their shoes.
If necessary, please allow our workers to use blankets to protect your rails, we have plenty of blankets available for free! If you are concerned about damage to the walls, please place cardboard to protect the walls before moving.

* Can you help guests move their pets?

Your pets must be on a leash or in a cage until the movers arrive at your home. Moving companies are not allowed to transport any live animals, including cats, dogs, fish, or other reptiles.

* What do I need to do with my landlord during the move?

It is important that you have a key member of your family present on the day of the move. This is because you will need to tell the movers exactly what you are moving and confirm the start time of the move.

* If we only need the workers to move our belongings, but not your truck, do you offer this service?

We can do that! We will bring our moving equipment with us. Please note that we may still drive trucks to engage in labor-only work. Minimum hours and travel time will still apply for labor-only jobs.
